How Gamble Critic Gets Paid
Gamble Critic is free to read. Running it is not free, and the money has to come from somewhere. It comes from the casinos we review. You should know that before you trust a single rating on this site, so here is the whole arrangement in plain language.
How Gamble Critic makes money
Most outbound links to a casino on this site are affiliate links. Click one, open an account, deposit, and the operator pays us. Sometimes that is a one-off fee for the signup. More often it is a share of what the casino earns from your play over the following months, which is the standard arrangement across this industry and the one we use with most partners.
You pay nothing extra for it. The bonus is the same. So is the payout speed, and so are the terms attached to your account, whether you arrive through our link or type the casino address into the browser yourself. If an operator ever offered a worse deal to readers coming from Gamble Critic, we would drop the partnership that week.
What the commission does not buy
Every affiliate site says its ratings are independent. Most of them are lying, so the claim on its own is worth nothing. What follows is the specific list of things an operator cannot purchase from us, written down so you can hold us to it.
- A position in any ranking. Our lists are ordered by score. Not by commission rate, not by who signed most recently.
- A score. Ratings come out of the weighted framework on our How We Rate page. Trust and safety carries the heaviest weight, payments come second.

- Removal of reader comments. Negative comments get moderated for spam and abuse. Never for being negative.
- Advance sight of a review. No operator reads a Gamble Critic review before it publishes. Several have asked.
When an operator offers a higher rate in exchange for a better score, the answer is no, and the conversation goes into the review.

Casinos we earn nothing from
Some reviews on this site make us no money at all. A few operators turned us down. A few we never approached, because after testing the withdrawal process we did not want to send anyone there. Reviews are written by the Gamble Critic editorial team and signed off by Nick Collins. Partnership deals are handled separately. The person negotiating a rate does not decide what the review says, and that separation is the only real protection any affiliate site can offer readers.

Write to [email]. If a review reads like it was bought, say so and point at the paragraph. We would rather argue about it than have you quietly stop trusting the site.
